Adding a Contact
Accounts are typically created for a customer you are doing business with, and contacts are the individual company employees, representatives, phone numbers, emails. You can have multiple contacts for one Account. Emails for these contacts are used in Delivery Methods for important documents such as Invoices, Credit Memos, and Statements
Accounts>Manage Accounts>Contacts
Search for or add your account. Then, in order to create contacts once your account is open, go to the Contacts tab within the Main Account.
On the Contacts tab select the ‘+Add’ button at the bottom left hand corner.
Enter your contact information including First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Mobile, Fax and
Address information
After you’ve finished entering the contact information select ‘Save’. Once you’ve added all your contacts select ‘Save & Close’ to close the Account Manager.
Contacts on Quotes/Orders
- Contacts can also be tied to Quotes/Orders.
Authorized Buyer
-
When the “Authorized Buyer” is checked on the contact and the “Verify if the sales order has an authorized buyer” is checked on the bottom right of the Contacts tab, these settings require this contact to be added on the quote at conversion.
